A federal judge on Monday dismissed criminal charges against two of President Trump’s critics, former Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
In an unusual turn of events, Judge Cameron McGowan Currie said Lindsey Halligan, the interim U.S. attorney in eastern Virginia, was
unlawfully appointed when she brought the cases shortly after Trump handpicked her for the post.
